You are about to spend $300 on a jar of cream.

We will tell you whether to.

Every review ends in a straight answer — worth it, worth it if, or skip it. We buy what we review, we accept no sponsorship, and we will happily tell you when the $12 alternative does most of the same job.

Bought at retail

Every product is purchased with our own money. Nothing is gifted, loaned, or sponsored.

A straight answer

Worth it, worth it if, or skip it — stated at the top of every review, before the argument.

The honest alternative

When something cheaper does the same job, we name it. Even when it earns us nothing.

The verdicts everyone asks for

Before You Buy Anywhere

This is the most counterfeited category on the internet.

The fakes are good — good enough that packaging alone will not tell you. There is one reliable rule, a handful of tells worth knowing, and a discount pattern that should always stop you. It takes four minutes to learn, and it applies wherever you shop.

How to Spot a Fake
  • 01Check 'Sold by' — not 'Ships from'. They are different fields, and only one of them matters.
  • 02A meaningful discount on a brand that never discounts is a warning, not a bargain.
  • 03Batch codes should match between the box and the container itself.
  • 04If the scent or texture is wrong, stop using it. Trust that over the packaging.
